This is part of a collaborative project with the nurse practitioner Annie Hinchcliffe at the Bristol Eye Hospital. We are working together to develop a series of small-scale interactive art works inspired by the structures of the eye, in particular those affected by Uveitis, a common inflammatory disease. We are hoping to see whether, used alongside traditional models and scans, these art works can help patients to engage with their condition on a more emotional level. The aim is to see whether are then more likely to continue to follow up with the ongoing tests and treatments that are vital to complete recovery.
