Gateways to the Forbidden City, watercolours

While traveling in China as part of a delegation from the RCA to Tsinghua University, I was asked to create a series of watercolours of the Forbidden City. These were auctioned for charity at the British Ball in Beijing on 30 October 2010. It was a delight to be working on paper once more and I have started drawing and painting again, joining the Natural Forms classes at the RCA.
